Job title: HR Business Partner Location: Lancashire & the Northwest region Salary: £40k - £45k

This is a hybrid, flexible working role with travel required, workload and client base dependent.

I am working with a fantastic organisation who is looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner to join their team from a consultative perspective.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent understanding of TUPE with proven experience managing union consultations confidently.
  • Strong project management skills and comprehensive knowledge of the employee lifecycle.
  • Solid grasp of employment law with the ability to apply it effectively in practical settings.
  • Confident and proactive approach, with the ability to constructively challenge when needed.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified or currently working towards the qualification.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and time management.

What the Role Involves:

  • Conducting detailed HR audits and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing strategic HR support that delivers measurable value to clients.
  • Offering expert guidance, mentoring, and support across a range of HR matters.
  • Representing AfterAthena at client events and meetings.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial perspective.
  • Exceptional relationship-builder with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
