Global People Operations Manager
A global consultancy operating across the energy and chemicals sectors is looking for an experienced People Manager to cover a 16-month maternity leave.
This is a high-impact role overseeing HR operations across EMEA, APAC, and the US, with the opportunity to contribute to strategic projects and business integration initiatives.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the VP of People, you'll lead the day-to-day HR operations, manage one direct report, and serve as the primary HR contact across multiple international offices. You'll also be a key partner to senior leadership, supporting business growth through proactive people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage global HR operations including payroll, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, training, and recruitment

Line management of the People Assistant

Support international hiring efforts and ensure consistent and inclusive processes

Partner on policy development and ensure alignment with regional labour laws

Oversee employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism

Maintain and optimise HR systems (HiBob, TriNet, Engagedly, Skillsoft Percipio)

Contribute to strategic HR projects including a business integration initiative
About You:
-
7+ years HR generalist experience in an international business

Strong working knowledge of EMEA, APAC, and US HR operations and employment law

Confident in managing recruitment and employee relations processes

Line management experience

Proficient in HR systems (HiBob and TriNet desirable)

Exceptional attention to detail, with a collaborative and culturally aware communication style

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (preferred)
