Senior HR Advisor
The Role
Due to growth, this company are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join the HR team and play a crucial role in supporting our workforce. This is a small team with a wide remit, seeking a team player who is willing to get involved in various aspects of HR. The successful candidate will ideally have 3+ years of prior HR experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to a growing and fast-paced work environment.
Main Duties Include:
- Managing the recruitment process: preparing job descriptions, keeping job platforms updated, liaising with external recruiters, and organising/conducting interviews.
- Leading the on-boarding of new staff: preparing all new joiner documents, checking compliance, ensuring completion of all on-boarding tasks, scheduling inductions, and managing probation.
- Ensuring company benefits are regularly updated and offered to eligible employees.
- Leading the off-boarding process: preparing all documentation, ensuring completion of all off-boarding tasks, and scheduling/conducting exit interviews.
- Overseeing the company’s learning and development needs: liaising with external training providers, arranging courses (in-person and virtual), and distributing related documentation.
- Leading the HR elements of company ESG and ISO audits.
- Assisting the HR Director with other projects as required.
The Essentials
- Previous experience (3+ years) working within an HR Department, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- High understanding of the need for confidentiality.
- Experience supporting the recruitment process from start to end.
- Proactive, accountable, and reliable.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (including Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with BambooHR preferred but not essential.
