As the business embarks on a journey to develop and expand globally, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lay down the foundation of their HR practices and drive the people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Establish and manage the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment and culture
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and motivate high-quality employees
  • Oversee and manage compensation and benefits programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Lead HR projects such as compensation plans revisions, performance management systems, and more
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Director or other senior HR role
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
