An excellent opportunity is available with a growing financial services business based in Wolverhampton who require a HR Advisor. In this HR generalist role, you will take on a range of HR administration services for the business providing advise internally.
Provide advice and support to line managers in relation to employee relations issues in line with policy, best practice guidelines and employment legislation.
Provide support both formally and informally with regards to absence, performance and conduct processes
Take responsibility for providing professional advice to managers on all stages of the recruitment and selection process
Take responsibility for the generation of payroll for c650 employees and generation of gross pay
You will produce, manage, maintain and ensure the secure keeping of appropriate paperwork and compliant records for all employees
Be actively involved in HR project work and casework
The HR Advisor will ideally possess CIPD qualification or be close to attaining the qualification, and have extensive prior experience within a HR Advisor role. You will have prior experience of generating gross payroll and preparing payroll, and be up to date with employment law knowledge and have the ability to transfer in to practice. You will have excellent casework experience and have strong IT skills in the use of Microsoft outlook/Word/Excel/relational databases and ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. Ideally you will have operated within financial services however working with a growing private sector/professional services business can be considered.
