Regulatory Complaints Manager, Milton Keynes, 15 months FTC, Up to £42,000.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Regulatory Complaints Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and support a team of Regulated Complaints Specialists in investigating, assessing, and resolving complex complaints while ensuring compliance with FCA, FOS, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Regulated Complaints Specialists to deliver fair and efficient complaint resolutions.
  • Ensure all complaint-handling processes meet regulatory and audit requirements while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service to gather information and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement process improvements that enhance customer experience and compliance standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, preparing accurate reports and ensuring timely responses to external enquiries.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience handling regulated complaints within automotive, financial services, or similar consumer-facing industries.
  • Strong understanding of consumer rights, FCA regulations, and warranty policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations empathetically and professionally.
  • Decisive problem-solving abilities with sound judgement and a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues in best practices for complaint resolution.
