Job Title: Risk & Compliance Officer (Open to graduates with a keen interest in compliance and good administrative skills) Salary: £26,000 per annum Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid Working – 2 days in the office, 3 days from home)

Are you ready to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and supportive environment? We’re looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to join the team in Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance and risk management while working in a hybrid setup that offers flexibility and work-life balance.

About the Role:

As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that professional standards and risk management are integrated across the legal services. Reporting to the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers, you’ll have exposure to a variety of compliance and risk-related tasks, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing checks, results and providing guidance to the business on findings.
  • Monitoring and addressing queries logged in the compliance portal, offering advice as required.
  • Assisting with the management of the compliance monitoring programme by conducting compliance audits.
  • Supporting Senior Risk & Compliance Officers and the AML Manager with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive and able to use their initiative when solving problems.
  • Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office packages.
  • Ideally a background in compliance however someone with strong administrative experience and graduates with a passion for compliance will be considered
