As a Market Risk Manager, you will be leading global coverage for the Foreign Exchange (GFX) and Listed Derivatives and Clearing (LD&C) businesses. You will be working with colleagues who focus on Valuation management to raise the level of Market Risk awareness and to gain an understanding of all the possible drivers of Profit and Loss.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting and escalating risk exposures and issues
- Overseeing the Global Foreign Exchange and Listed Derivatives and Clearing businesses.
- Daily monitoring of risk, stress and Value-at-Risk exposures against limits
- Engage and challenge Front Office and senior traders.
- Lead an experienced team.
- Ensure risk completeness and accuracy, ensure that the limit framework and appetite is commensurate with infrastructure.
Skills / Experience:
- Solid experience in market risk management.
- Solid understanding in risk managing flow and exotic derivatives.
- A leader who can build high-performing teams and establish strong partnerships.
- Strong experience of market risk controls and governance frameworks
- Strong technical and analysis skills.
