What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst at Morgan Stanley's ETS team in Glasgow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's technological landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to understand objectives and elicit requirements. You will conduct detailed analyses of business processes and workflows while ensuring solutions align with business strategy. Your analytical mindset will be crucial in identifying trends from key performance metrics and presenting these insights to stakeholders. Furthermore, your ability to produce high-quality documentation will be essential in communicating complex concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and architects to understand objectives, elicit requirements, and drive consensus on project scope.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and technical requirements.
- Partner with divisional architects, solution designers and technical staff to ensure solutions align with business strategy.
- Support the creation and evolution of roadmaps, capability models, and architectural blueprints.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Analyze key performance metrics and present insights to stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, user stories, use cases.
- Support change management initiatives related to the adoption of new tools or standards.
- Ensure alignment with internal governance, technology standards, and regulatory requirements.
