A leading, global Asset Manager is seeking a Risk Analytics Project Manager to help support and manage a portfolio of change initiatives across an experienced IT and Change Management group. You will support the Risk Analytics Programme Manager and manage the delivery of change initiatives which will enable the organisation to achieve its desired growth and operational transformation outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of the assigned transformation and change initiatives using approved project management and government practices
- Collaborate and work closely with key stakeholders and other interested parties to support effective decision-making, while managing the smooth and integrated delivery of the Risk Analytics change portfolio
- Deliver projects in a timely manner within the allocated budget
- Ensure that functional and non-functional testing and code reviews are conducted at all appropriate stages of the systems development lifecycle
- Work together with the Risk Analytics Programme Manager in the creation and provision of other change related audit and governance deliverables
Skills and experience:
- Certified Project Manager with experience of different project delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, Prince2
- Certified Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master
- Proven experience working and delivering IT enabled business owned projects within the Life Insurance, Pensions, Annuities, Asset & Liability, or Investment management space
- Previously worked in Actuarial, Quantitative Risk Management and Insurance related financial reporting environments (Solvency II, IFRS, ALM)
- Solid understanding of Insurance products, types of assets, Insurance financial reporting regulations, and processes used to manage Insurance liabilities and assets
- Proven experience delivering projects according to SDLC approaches
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
