Our client, Vanguard Asset Management, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to support the management and roadmap for a digital product, demonstrating a deep understanding of the digital product(s) and associated business areas. The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with a cross-functional team, contribute to ongoing business planning, and participate in special projects.

What you'll do:
As an Associate Product Manager at Vanguard Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of our digital products. You will be part of a dedicated team that collaborates to understand our clients' needs and drives changes to enhance their experience. Your input will be vital in informing our product strategy. You will also assist in planning, developing, and implementing new products. Your role will involve market analysis, developing detailed product features and requirements, and creating implementation plans. Additionally, you will participate in ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities. This role also provides the opportunity to participate in special projects.
• Support digital product management services on a digital product, developing functional expertise to improve digital product results.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand client needs and drive changes to the client experience.
• Support digital product teams towards best practices and learnings.
• Raise client needs and provide input to inform the product strategy.
• Assist with planning, development and implementation of new products.
• Support analysis of markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
• Participate in ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
What you bring:
As an Associate Product Manager at Vanguard Asset Management, your proven project management skills will be invaluable. Ideally, you'll bring experience from within the Financial Services sector or from a function-specific role. Your educational background should include an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. A strong understanding of digital products and associated business areas is essential for this role. You'll need excellent collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. Your communication skills will be put to good use when delivering messaging and customer outreach. Your ability to analyse markets and develop detailed product features and requirements will be crucial in this role. Experience in planning, development, and implementation of new products is also required.
• Proven experience managing projects is preferred.
• Experience within Asset Management or Financial Services industry is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of digital products and associated business areas.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering messaging and customer outreach.
• Ability to analyse markets and develop detailed product features and requirements.
• Experience in planning, development and implementation of new products.
