What you'll do:
- Collate lending pipeline information and distribute it efficiently to relevant stakeholders across the business.
- Review draft documentation at key stages of transactions, suggesting operational improvements to enhance deal execution.
- Book new bilateral, agency, and syndicated participations in the lending source system with meticulous attention to data accuracy.
- Manage amendments and restructures within the lending source system to ensure seamless transaction updates.
- Govern initial pay away conditions in line with established checklists for new deals or facilities, maintaining robust control standards.
- Complete security builds in booking systems while tracking all subsequent conditions including credit-defined sell downs.
- Retain records of transaction withholding tax forms such as W8 & W9 Ben forms for compliance purposes.
- Reconcile derivatives bookings against loan profiles to ensure effective hedging where applicable.
- Prepare comprehensive transaction notes for handover to servicing teams within agreed service level agreements.
- Oversee overdue covenants and breaches for escalation during business unit dashboard meetings.

- Demonstrate regulatory knowledge relevant to corporate lending operations as required by the role.

- Possess training, coaching, and assessment skills with an ability to identify gaps in yourself or others.
- Bring technical expertise across a broad range of complex products within corporate lending environments.
- Exhibit strong LoanIQ experience with proven ability to build deals.
- Interpret and operationalise complex credit, ancillary, and security documentation with ease.
- Understand lending risk environments thoroughly including downstream implications such as finance, funding, market risk reporting, operational risk reporting, and credit risk reporting.
- Adapt quickly to changes in technical environments by leveraging system knowledge and flexibility.
- Negotiate documentation requirements collaboratively while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Illustrate high emotional intelligence alongside strong verbal and written communication skills.
