Transfer Officer 6mo FTC

* Candidate must be immediately available or have maximum 1 month notice period. * A leading UK wealth management organisation is seeking a Transfers Officer for a 6-month fixed-term contract. * Previous experience working within operational processes in wealth management or private client asset management environments is essential for this role. * Experience using Crest Gui and Equisoft

What you'll do:

• Process transfers in and out for all account types across multiple products and platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout each transaction.
• Manage internal transfers of holdings resulting from changes in client status such as tax documentation updates, trust distributions, deceased estates, or spouse-to-spouse transfers.
• Monitor the progress of all transfer activities diligently, escalating any issues promptly to ensure smooth completion and optimal client outcomes.
• Facilitate depot movements efficiently while maintaining meticulous records in line with operational standards.
• Set up nominee accounts as required and provide Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation when necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
• Upload and download reports (such as IFDS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
• Engage regularly with fund managers, market counterparties, and other operations teams involved in maintaining accurate client account data and records.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the relevant regulatory framework by practising effective risk management focused on positive outcomes for clients.
• Ensure full compliance with all internal policies as well as external rules set by regulatory bodies such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
