What you'll do:
As a Private Credit Operations Analyst in this respected credit management firm based in London, you will be entrusted with overseeing critical operational functions across multiple funds. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both internal teams such as Finance and external stakeholders like brokers or custodians. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity through rigorous reconciliations while proactively resolving any discrepancies or settlement issues that arise. By developing robust workflows and supporting risk control measures, you will help safeguard the firm's operations. Your involvement in process improvements including automation initiatives will contribute directly to increased efficiency. Additionally, you will play an important role in supporting due diligence efforts and managing key service provider relationships. Success in this role requires not only technical expertise but also a collaborative spirit; your ability to work harmoniously with colleagues across departments will be essential for achieving shared goals.
- Manage and oversee the entire trade lifecycle process, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation across various asset classes such as fixed income, loans, and derivatives.
- Perform daily position and cash reconciliations between internal systems, custodians, and prime brokers to ensure data accuracy at all times.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and settlement issues promptly to minimise operational risk for the firm.
- Liaise effectively with external counterparties including brokers, custodians, fund administrators as well as internal teams such as trading, risk management, and finance to support seamless operational processes.
- Develop and maintain robust operational workflows and controls that underpin best practices within the department.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of operational risk controls to ensure compliance with both internal policies and industry standards.
- Participate actively in system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency while reducing risk exposure.
- Contribute meaningfully to the firm’s risk management framework by ensuring accurate trade and position data that supports effective risk monitoring and reporting.
- Liaise with key service providers to manage relationships efficiently and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Assist with operational due diligence requests and visits as well as ad-hoc projects when required.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel enabling efficient analysis of complex datasets relevant to trade support activities.
