Client Referential Data Analyst

Must be immediately available * Education to degree level * Experience in banking operations with proven background in at least one core operations function * Understanding of securities, derivatives, and treasury products—ideally two or more * Reference/Market data experience

What you will do:

• Ensure the timely and accurate set up of legal entity static reference data across all classes and systems, maintaining high standards of precision throughout.
• Maintain central data platforms by ensuring all reference data and supported market data are consistently updated for accuracy and uniformity across multiple systems.
• Safeguard the organisation against financial losses or reporting breaches by meticulously updating reference data and preventing errors or delays in input.
• Facilitate the prompt setup of new parties within internal systems, ensuring seamless integration into operational workflows.
• Clear daily reconciliation exceptions related to reference data, investigating root causes of recurring issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Complete system audit reports on a daily basis, establishing comprehensive audit trails for all additions, deletions, and amendments made within each system.
• Communicate closely with front office teams, operations staff, and other support functions to ensure alignment on data requirements and issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain detailed working instructions (procedures) that guide operational processes and promote consistency across the team.
• Respond swiftly to front office requests as well as ad hoc queries, providing dependable support for urgent operational needs.
• Support wider operations by liaising with front office teams to resolve exceptions or breaks identified at downstream control points.
