What you'll do:

As a Hedge Fund Trade Support Specialist, your primary focus will be ensuring the complete, accurate and timely capture of trades and lifecycle events. You will monitor electronic trade flows, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, facilitate various processes such as option expiry processes and corporate event processing. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of instrument data setup and maintenance while also reconciling client positions. Your role will also involve working on process improvement projects including technology enhancements.

* Ensure complete, accurate and timely capture of trades and lifecycle events
* Monitor electronic trade flows and ensure accurate trade capture of voice executed transactions
* Comply with regulations and internal policies with respect to trade execution and capture
* Facilitate option expiry processes, corporate event processing, compression and novation processing
* Manage all elements of instrument data set up and maintenance
* Reconcile client positions ensuring they match external parties
* Work on process improvement projects including technology enhancements

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Hedge Fund Trade Support Specialist role brings an undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline along with a sound understanding of financial markets and different financial products. You have excellent knowledge of operational risk and risk mitigation utilising technology, process and controls. With at least 3 years' experience in trade assistant/operations roles, you are adept at problem-solving and have demonstrated capability in process improvement. Advanced Excel skills along with knowledge of VBA, SQL or other programming languages would be highly beneficial.
