They are looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join their dynamic team in Glasgow. What you'll do:
As an Agile Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in delivering on business priorities while reinforcing Agile practices within your squad. You will foster an environment of trust where issues can be openly discussed and resolved. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the squad's performance. You will provide unwavering support to your team, leading by example and promoting a culture of ownership and accountability. Your responsibilities will also include managing and prioritising work through the backlog, ensuring that tasks are appropriately balanced across team members. Furthermore, you will lead all sprint ceremonies, facilitating open discussions that encourage various viewpoints.

• Work with the squad to deliver on business priorities while embedding Agile practices and behaviours.
• Build a trusting environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or judgement.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the squad.
• Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible.
• Help manage and prioritize work through the backlog by reviewing and managing backlog items.
• Lead, coordinate, facilitate and guide all sprint ceremonies.

What you bring:
As an Agile Scrum Master, you bring a wealth of professional experience working on an Agile team. With at least five years' experience in a similar role, you are conversant in Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Frameworks. Your familiarity with software development or technology infrastructure equips you with the knowledge needed to excel in this role. You possess strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills which enable you to effectively lead your team. Your deep understanding of change management and ability to leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to serve the squad sets you apart.

• Professional experience working on an Agile team; minimum 5 years’ experience as a scrum master or SDM Role.
• Conversant in Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Frameworks.
• Familiarity with software development or technology infrastructure.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies.
• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Deep understanding of change management.
• Ability to leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution to serve the squad.
