An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Private Credit Operations Specialist in the heart of London. This role is the first operational hire in a boutique private debt fund, with the need to support front office origination teams by taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up private debt operations processes including loan administration, cash management, reconciliations, payments, rate fixings, rollovers, drawdowns, data management, and fund administration.

What you'll do:
As a Private Credit Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support front office origination teams by managing the day-to-day running of the portfolio. You will take full ownership of the Loan Management System and establish best practices. Your role will encompass a wide range of tasks including loan administration, treasury functions management and fund administration. You will also maintain oversight of third parties.
* Take full ownership of the Loan Management System and establish best practices and all processes.
* Administer loans including processing rollovers, drawdowns, rate fixings.
* Review credit & facility agreements and handle payments and reconciliations.
* Manage treasury functions including cash management, intra-day liquidity, funding, payments, cash & nostro reconciliations, settlements.
* Oversee fund administration and NAVs.
* Maintain oversight of third parties.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Private Credit Operations Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in private debt. You should have past coverage including distressed debt, special situations or leveraged loan offerings. A proven track record working with a Loan Management System is essential. You should also have delivered process improvements and supported wider projects in the past as well as delivering on BAU Operational tasks.
