Loan Administration Officer

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle various aspects of loan administration, from handling rollovers/rate fixings to settling legal fees.

What you'll do:

As a Loan Administrator, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of loan administration including rollovers/rate fixings, repayments, prepayments for agency, bilateral and syndicated loan facilities. Your ability to administer the transfer of loans on the secondary market will be crucial. Additionally, you will be expected to handle customer queries on all administration matters with professionalism and efficiency.

• Handle rollovers/rate fixings, repayments, prepayments for agency, bilateral and syndicated loan facilities.
• Administer the transfer of loans on the secondary market.
• Handle customer queries on all administration matters.
• Input data into the bank’s computer systems.
• Authorise customer payments and monitor receipt of funds.
• Claim fees and commissions from customers.
• Reconcile internal suspense accounts.
• Prepare reports for management.
• Settle legal fees.
• Provide cover in the absence of other members of the department.

What you bring:

• At least 4 years loans administration experience.
• Experience of IBIS or a similar banking system is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience of administration as agent for RBL facilities and multipurpose RCF is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience of shipping industry loans Trade finance knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• Good intercommunication skills.
• Flexible attitude.
