An excellent opportunity is available with a leading outsourcer of clearing and settlement services who are part of a global financial technology organisation for an Operations Team Manager within the client transfers team to be responsible or the movement of client’s existing portfolios into custody and also the smooth exit out of custody. The business are currently working to an agile working model with opportunity for flexible working.
Reporting to the Head of Business Processing Operations, you will be focused on achieving Client SLAs through effective capacity planning, workload management and efficiency reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the accurate transfer of the client’s portfolio(s), exceeding client expectations at every step
- Responsible for the team workload planning & prioritisation in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
- You will be looking to optimise efficiency whilst ensuring that continuous improvements are made in a high-risk environment.
- Drive the development of the team through regular coaching and mentoring
- Chairing regular conference calls with clients to discuss the progression of ongoing transfers
- Providing escalation support for more complex, technical business queries
- Drive the development of your team through regular coaching & mentoring, including 1-2-1's and quarterly appraisal review.
- Own & team workload planning & prioritisation in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
The successful applicant will have Operations Team Management experience from within a wealth management of banking environment. You will have experience organising and managing a fast-paced Team, achieving operational SLAs, possess a passion to deliver excellent customer service and will be a strong leader, able to motivate, coach and manage performance to get the best from the Team. The successful applicant will also have a proven ability to strengthen processes ensuring they are efficient and minimise risk to the Company.
