An excellent opportunity is available with a leading business who provide outsourced clearing and settlements services in Birmingham for an Operational Resilience and Quality Assurance Manager to work with the business stakeholders to evolve, embed and strengthen the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring regulatory compliance. The business operate an agile working policy.
Your role will be to ensure that all aspects of Operational Resilience is considered in all day-to-day business activities within the defined and evolving operating model.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring that framework delivers an operational environment that allows the business to continue to provide continuity of services to clients regardless of external factors that may impact it.

In respect to the Quality Assurance aspect of the role, the team are responsible for developing, implementing, and performing independent reviews & oversight on operational processes, procedures and managing risk events, as well as acting as liaison between Risk & Compliance and the wider business.

You will be responsible for challenging the business to make improvements around service quality and to ensure that robust operational controls and processes are in place.

Ensure that risk events are recorded, investigated and tracked to resolution with emphasis on significant incidents or trends.
- Collaborate with business, management and staff, dealing with risk issues, analysing processes, losses and risk exposure and sharing lessons learned.
- Undertake oversight reviews on various operational areas and tasks to ensure that processes are being followed and are robust / compliant.
- Organising and assisting with the completion of external and internal audits.
- Ensure that any Continuous Improvement initiatives that areas of the business are working on are documented on the plan and challenge areas of the business to continuously evolve.
The Operational Resilience and Quality Assurance Manager will possess proven knowledge and experience with the implementation of Operational Resilience Programmes within a regulated Financial Services firm, you may be an analyst looking for that next step in your career or someone and who is looking to leverage their managerial expertise within a global organisation. Additionally, you will be someone with experience in the identification, evaluation and prioritisation of risks and risk management techniques, coupled with being able to work with Senior Management and build strong stakeholder relationships across the company.
