An excellent opportunity is available with a leading discretionary and advisory investment management business for an Operations Team Manager to lead a team of Operations Analysts within a live service function. The business operate an agile working policy with three office based days and two remote days per week.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will assume day-to-day operational responsibility for the relevant operational function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Analysts including completing annual appraisals and setting objectives.
- Identify and address training needs across the team to develop each individual's skills and knowledge to maximise overall team goals.
- Guiding and assisting the team to successful completion of objectives
- Identify and implement operational efficiency's
- Attendance at internal governance meetings as required
- Identify and escalate any areas of risk, suggest and implement risk mitigation
- Liaise across operational functions
The Operations Team Manager will possess prior experience of managing a back office operations team within a financial services environment. You will have ability to demonstrate leadership skills in supporting others, building confidence in others and taking responsibility to resolve issues. You will be reliable, accurate and have ability to prioritise responsibilities within deadlines with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
