An excellent opportunity is available with a leading financial institution based in Birmingham City Centre for a specialist in the Global Network Management team on a 6 month contract initially on a PAYE basis. The business operate an agile working policy with three office based days and two remote days per week.
Global Network Management is responsible for managing external entity relationships (Branches, Central Securities Depositories and Third parties) on behalf of our clients entities globally, across all major business lines. They aim to provide a competitive network management service, balancing agent network cost, quality and risk factors in line with business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the opening and closing of all nostro and depot accounts under all of the external entity relationships globally, as well as the supporting control and monitoring of the account network.

Manage a global re-certification of all depot and nostro accounts globally both externally with the external entity network and internally with all business owners, on an annual basis.

Work directly with the global external entity network to complete external account re-certifications, establishing a strong relationship with each provider.

Work directly with internal DB Business Account Owners and their associated operations teams, to complete the internal account re-certifications process, establishing a strong relationship with each business.

Work in close collaboration with other teams to investigate and resolve any reconciliation discrepancies, to ensure the successful completion of the re-certifications in line with the agreed annual schedule.

Operate effectively within tight time frames and provide support and cover where required for team members.

Produce accurate daily/weekly/monthly reporting to demonstrate the progress on account re-certifications and any remedial work which is required. You will escalate any issues to management promptly.
You will possess some experience of having operates in a global network management, securities related role or client services within investment banking. You will have experience/ability to assist with the opening and closing of accounts and liaising with the global agent bank network and be experienced in a client service environment. You will have excellent organisational skills, consistent attention to detail, and ability to coordinate, host and minute conference calls and webEX sessions with participants including senior management.
