The vacancy is within the GM EMEA Regulatory Reporting Team. The team is responsible for ensuring that the firm reports transactions and positions in a compliant manner to NCA's, trading venues and the Bank of England. The core purpose of this role is to work within the controls and oversight function who complete the additional control checks, data sampling and quality assurance reviews that supplement the reporting hub. Additionally the candidate will be fully engaged with the MiFID2 change team as we remediate identified issues and defects from the MiFID2 implementation. Success in this role will require demonstration of a strong control mindset, active engagement with the GM EMEA Regulatory Services team and the delivery of a robust Quality Assurance Framework.
The role reports to the Vice President of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting team.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Excellent technical knowledge of MiFID II Transaction Reporting, Trade Reporting, RTS21, RTS23.
- Ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Data analytic skills desirable.
- Excellent product knowledge across a variety of products and flows across Equity, Cash, Fixed Income, Listed and OTC Derivatives.
- Experience of achieving results in a project context using resources and negotiating with teams that you are not directly responsible for experience working with offshore teams desirable.
