Our client is seeking a highly skilled Property Underwriter to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your underwriting expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for underwriting risks in accordance with the business plan, ensuring a profitable account. Your ability to contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement will be key to your success in this role. What you'll do:

* Underwrite insurance risks in accordance with the business plan and delegated authority

* Contribute to the development of operational team plans

* Advise on plan developments and changes for optimal delivery

* Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with operational instructions

* Respond to queries from colleagues and provide advice on functional needs and standards

* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet service expectations

* Participate in the review and analysis of the portfolio to identify progress towards business objectives

* Extensive knowledge of Property underwriting

* Understanding of UK underwriting market

* Technical understanding of class-specific underwriting parameters

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Proficiency in MS Office applications

* Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively

* Ability to analyse data for decision-making

* Experience in resolving underwriting queries
