Our client, Vanguard Asset Management, is seeking a Fixed Income Service Analyst to join their London team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide front-line operational support to the Fixed Income Investment Group and contribute to the management of Investment Data. The successful candidate will be part of a specialist team, working closely with Portfolio Managers and providing critical daily operational support. If you have a firm understanding of fixed income markets, indexing strategies, and experience with Aladdin, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you'll do:
As a Fixed Income Service Analyst at Vanguard Asset Management, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Fixed Income Investment Group. You'll be responsible for managing Investment Index Data and maintaining the FI Investment Book of Records. Your keen eye will monitor trading activity, providing valuable insights to the Investments Team. You'll also engage with wider EIS teams, responding swiftly to investment process queries and concerns. Monitoring market events and considering their potential impact on the investing process will also fall within your remit. Collaborating with both Investment Risk and Operational Risk Teams, you'll work towards improving controls and enhancing efficiency.

• Provide front-line operational support to the Fixed Income Investment Group.
• Manage Investment Index Data.
• Maintain the FI Investment Book of Records including start of day and end-of-day checks.
• Monitor trading activity and provide insights to the Investments Team.
• Respond to investment process queries and concerns quickly.
• Engage wider EIS teams to collate information or actions required by Desk.
• Monitor market/world events and consider how these may impact the Investing process.
• Work with Investment Risk and Operational Risk Teams to improve controls.

The ideal candidate for the Fixed Income Service Analyst role brings a wealth of knowledge in fixed income markets and Indexing strategies. Your strong experience with Aladdin sets you apart from others. You've honed your skills in an Operations environment, adept at detecting and responding swiftly to operational incidents. Your project management skills are top-notch, as are your abilities in managing stakeholders with appropriate escalations. Above all, you possess a deep understanding of the investments lifecycle which will be invaluable in this role.

• Firm knowledge of fixed income markets and Indexing strategies.
• Industry knowledge would be preferred
• Strong experience with Aladdin would be beneficial
• Practical experience in an Operations environment.
• Ability to detect and respond to operational incidents.
• Project management skills.
• Stakeholder management skills with appropriate escalation abilities.
• Strong understanding of the investments lifecycle.
