Our client is seeking a Vice President for their Corporate Finance M&A team, based in London. This role offers the opportunity to join a global team of over 200 professionals, providing integrated financial solutions across a broad range of industry sectors. The successful candidate will play an active role in the origination, structuring and execution of transformation transactions for leading financial institutions and related companies. What you'll do:


As a Vice President in the Corporate Finance M&A team, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our client's financial institution portfolio. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve participating in the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions, maintaining active contacts with other departments, preparing product arrangements and financing requests for complex transactions, and managing junior deal team members. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own business and marketing responsibilities with the support of senior members.


* Participate in the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
* Execute approval, structuring and closing of M&A, Capital Markets and other financial transactions
* Maintain active contacts with other departments/disciplines
* Prepare product arrangements/financing requests for complex transactions including financial models
* Prepare documents for transaction processing
* Direct and manage junior deal team members to achieve team objectives


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Vice President role will bring a wealth of experience from an investment banking environment, specifically within the Financial Institutions sector. You will have hands-on expertise in leading M&A, DCM, ECM and capital structuring projects. Your strong financial modelling & valuation skills will be key to your success in this role. Excellent English verbal and communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with various stakeholders across different departments. A detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated approach is crucial.


* 5-7 years of experience within an investment banking environment
* Hands-on expertise in leading M&A, DCM, ECM and capital structuring projects
* Experience within the Financial Institutions sector
* Strong financial modelling & valuation skills
* Excellent English verbal and communication skills
* Detail-oriented, pro-active and self-motivated
