Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Development Analyst to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:


As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in executing our client's growth strategy. You will be responsible for collecting market data, managing the corporate development pipeline, participating in all phases of transactions, analysing financial statements and preparing complex financial models. Your work will directly contribute to the preparation of investment cases for executive committees and board approval. Additionally, you will assist the corporate development team in preparing integration plans and reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.

  • Collect market, sector or company data through various research sources
  • Manage and update the Corporate Development pipeline with new acquisition targets
  • Participate in all phases of the transaction such as LOI, IM reviews, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, legal documentation, integration planning
  • Analyse financial statements and data, prepare complex financial models considering the impact of acquisitions from financial and operational perspectives
  • Prepare investment cases for Executive Committees and Board for investment approvals
  • Assist the Corporate Development team in preparation of integration plans and reports


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for the Corporate Development Analyst position brings a strong academic background with experience working in a deal environment. You possess outstanding analytical skills with proficiency in Excel financial modelling and valuation. Your solid understanding of financial accounting concepts coupled with your excellent written and oral presentation skills sets you apart. A deep understanding of transaction environments and requirements is essential for success in this role.

  • Strong academic background with a degree from a leading University
  • Experience working in a deal environment

  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting concepts and practice
