Conduct Risk - 12 month FTC Location: London (3 days a week) Keywords: Strategy, Execution, Consultant, Risk Management, Compliance Our client is seeking a Strategy and Execution Consultant to join their dynamic team in London. This role is integral to the company's operations, focusing on managing the execution of front-line business controls and programs that address non-financial risk across their international region. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution and management of Conduct and Individual Accountability regimes, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and commitments. * Key role in managing non-financial risk * Supports execution of Conduct and Individual Accountability regimes * Ensures compliance with regulatory obligations

What you'll do:

As a Strategy and Execution Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the execution of front-line business controls and programs that address non-financial risk across our client's international region. You will be responsible for overseeing the Individual Accountability Regimes in the UK and internationally, acting as a key contact for Risk and Control requirements. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised when presenting on Conduct and IAR to senior management. Your role will also involve supporting the implementation of the Corporate and Investment Banking Conduct and Culture Framework.

  • Oversee and manage the Individual Accountability Regimes (e.g. SMCR, SEAR) in the UK and International
  • Act as the key contact for Risk and Control requirements and assessments
  • Support remediation and audit issue management, including audit engagements
  • Oversee production of International Conduct Management reporting for both International Committees and Legal Entities
  • Provide SME knowledge of Conduct requirements, policies and regulatory changes to the business
  • Present on Conduct and IAR to senior management and senior level committees including legal entity boards
  • Support implementation of the Corporate and Investment Banking Conduct and Culture Framework
  • Ensure relevant controls are executed to required standards and support risk assessments in performance of these controls

What you bring:

The ideal Strategy and Execution Consultant brings a wealth of experience demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education. You have extensive experience within front or second Line within a CIB across Conduct Risk or other key compliance risks. Your financial services background coupled with your degree-level education sets you apart. Your organisational skills are top-notch, backed by proven project management abilities. You possess unquestionable ethics with a high level of discretion on sensitive matters. Your strong communication skills complement your excellent analysis and planning capabilities.

  • Experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Extensive experience within front or second Line within a CIB across Conduct Risk or other key compliance risks
  • Financial Services experience
  • Degree level education preferred
  • Highly organised with demonstrable project management skills
  • Unquestionable ethics with high level of discretion on sensitive matters
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent analysis and planning capability
