This exciting role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team managing approximately $5 billion of client assets. What you'll do:

As a Compliance Associate, you will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing our client's robust compliance program. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in daily compliance processes, processing market soundings and early-look meeting requests, administering Fitness and Propriety reviews under the FCA’s Certification Regime, reviewing and documenting trade errors, delivering periodic compliance training, implementing various aspects of the Compliance Monitoring Programme, and monitoring domestic and international policy and regulatory developments. You will be part of a 4-person local compliance team reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer.

  • Assist in the implementation of the firm’s compliance program.
  • Daily compliance processes, particularly significant net short disclosures in the UK and EEA.
  • Processing market soundings and early-look meeting requests.
  • Administration of Fitness and Propriety reviews under the FCA’s Certification Regime.
  • Reviewing and documenting trade errors.
  • Assist with the delivery of periodic compliance training.
  • Implementation of various aspects of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Assist with the monitoring of domestic and international policy and regulatory developments.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Associate role brings 4-8 years’ financial regulatory experience ideally gained at an asset manager or other relevant organisation. You have experience submitting significant net short position disclosures in the UK and EEA. You hold a Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent. Your strong interpersonal skills make you an effective team player while your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to interact effectively across all levels within the organisation. Your experience with administration of personal trading policies and procedures, coupled with your strong problem-solving and analytical skills, make you an asset to the team. Your outstanding organisational skills and ability to design strong processes and workflows will be key to your success in this role.
