Compliance Monitoring & Testing (Assurance) - VP Location: London Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Monitoring Vice President to join their team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a responsible and sustainable economy by financing and advising clients according to the highest ethical standards. The successful candidate will manage and deliver high-quality Compliance Reviews/Independent Testing and controls across business lines throughout Europe. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a good understanding of global markets, banking, securities services, or treasury products, and strong people management skills. * Opportunity to contribute to a responsible and sustainable economy * Manage and deliver high-quality Compliance Reviews/Independent Testing * Requires excellent analytical skills and understanding of global markets What you'll do: As a Compliance Monitoring Vice President, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's business adheres to internal controls and external rules while managing compliance risks. You will be responsible for leading the allocated program of risk-based thematic, transversal, targeted, and desk-focused Compliance reviews. Your excellent analytical skills will be put to use as you prepare detailed reports outlining key findings and agreed remediating actions. You will also take ownership of the team’s reporting tasks when required. * Contribute to the planning of independent testing and control execution * Lead and drive forward allocated program of risk-based thematic, transversal, targeted and desk focused Compliance reviews * Deliver Independent Testing and Controls within set deadlines * Prepare detailed report outlining key findings and agreed remediating actions * Share control results with Compliance and Business stakeholders * Analyse submitted evidence by Action Plan Owners for Team Manager(s) acceptance * Take ownership of the team’s reporting tasks when required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Compliance Monitoring Vice President position brings a wealth of professional qualifications and experience in a Compliance role in controls testing within a financial services environment. You possess detailed knowledge of specific Compliance principles and processes in control testing applicability, testing programmes, controls results, and reporting. Your understanding of global markets, banking, securities services or treasury products is complemented by your excellent analytical skills. Furthermore, your strong people management skills make you an effective leader.
