An excellent opportunity is available with a leading provider of outsourced clearing and settlement services as part of a global financial technology business for a Quality Assurance Analyst. The team are responsible for developing, implementing and performing independent oversight on operational processes, procedures and managing risk events, as well as acting as liaison between Risk and Compliance and the wider business. The business operate and agile working model with three office days per week and two remote days.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for challenging the business to make improvements around service quality and to ensure that robust operational controls and processes are in place.
- Ensure that risk events are recorded, investigated and tracked to resolution with emphasis on significant incidents or trends.
- Collaborate with business, management and staff, dealing with risk issues, analysing processes, losses and risk exposure and sharing lessons learned.
- Undertake oversight on various operational areas and tasks to ensure that processes are being followed and are robust.
- Organising and assisting with the completion of external and internal audits.
- Ensure that any Continuous Improvement initiatives that areas of the business are working on are documented on the plan and challenge areas of the business to continuously evolve.
- Key function log oversight and reports thereof.
- Ensure that key vendor relationship oversight is undertaken monthly.
- Preparing and submitting Management Information, Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators.
- Ad hoc tasks as allocated by management.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will possess some experience of having held a similar quality assurance related position ideally within a financial services environment. You will have knowledge of the risk and control framework in the financial services industry and a good understanding of different functions/operational areas and regulation. You may hold an Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent CISI qualification.
