A leading global asset management firm is looking to bring on board a Senior Financial Crime professional to work alongside the MLRO in its London office.

About the role:

As a Senior Financial Crime Officer, you will work alongside the MLRO to maintain the firm's financial crime compliance framework and provide advice to the business on all issues related to financial crime.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop & maintain the firm's financial crime compliance framework
  • Create, update and manage the FCC policies and procedures
  • Act as an advisor to the business on day to day financial crime issues
  • Identify and pro-actively manage current and emerging financial crime risks
  • Create, manage and deliver Financial Crime training
  • Assist the compliance monitoring team to create specific financial crime testing programs
  • Maintain the risk assessment model and process for AML, Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption
  • Review and analyse the MI and transaction monitoring reports and update KRI’s
  • Ad hoc project work relating to other financial crime matters as required
  • Represent the Financial Crime Compliance team at client due diligence visits, forums and external meetings and events

About you:

  • 4+ years' relevant financial crime compliance experience, ideally within asset/investment management
  • Understanding of full financial crime compliance spectrum (AML, ABC, Sanctions, CTF)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to influece senior stakeholders and experience acting as main point of contact for the business
  • Organised& excellent attention to detail
