What You'll Do:

As a Credit Control Clerk, you will play an integral role in supporting the financial operations of a leading technology organisation renowned for its commitment to open source innovation. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing accounts receivable ledgers with precision, processing invoices accurately, handling customer data responsibly, and ensuring that all transactions comply with established policies. You will be responsible for maximising cash flow through effective debt collection strategies while providing exceptional service in resolving queries both internally and externally. By assisting with month-end reconciliations and maintaining meticulous records, you will contribute directly to the accuracy of financial reporting. * Maintain accuracy of accounts receivable ledgers by ensuring all entries are up-to-date and reconciled regularly to support financial integrity.

* Process customer invoices efficiently by entering them into accounting systems promptly and keeping all related files organised for easy access and compliance.

* Resolve any issues or discrepancies prior to invoice issuance by communicating effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth transactions.

* Implement credit control policies consistently by adhering to established procedures and recommending improvements when necessary to enhance efficiency.

* Maximise cash collection through diligent debt management practices, tracking outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining detailed records throughout the process.

* Ensure timely receipt of payments in accordance with contractual terms by monitoring payment schedules and proactively addressing delays or queries.

* Assist with month-end processes such as bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

* Respond promptly to questions or issues raised by customers or colleagues, escalating matters appropriately when required to maintain service excellence.
