What you'll do:

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our pricing strategies. You will collaborate with various teams across the company, ensuring robust inputs into forecasts and maintaining high model governance standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing automated processes for projecting claims, coordinating the roll-out of new forecasts across all products, and staying updated with industry best practices on actuarial methodologies. This role offers a unique blend of technical, strategic, and interpersonal responsibilities.

  • Work closely with the wider Pricing team and Data Science team to develop and implement best practices.
  • Deliver project work and analysis to agreed business timescales.
  • Influence and interpret project requirements from Pricing meetings.
  • Document important decisions and challenges from senior stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with teams involved in the Pricing end-to-end delivery process.
  • Develop an automated process to project claims using best practice techniques.
  • Coordinate the roll-out of new Forecasts across all Products.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices on actuarial methodologies.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Pricing Analyst position brings significant experience from an insurance pricing function. You possess excellent knowledge of actuarial methods and principles, ideally in a pricing or reserving context. Your proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications enables you to deliver high-quality work efficiently. With your strong project management skills, you are adept at planning and executing projects from inception to completion within business timelines. Above all, your passion for sharing knowledge makes you an invaluable asset to our team.

  • Experience working in an insurance pricing function is essential.
  • Knowledge of actuarial methods and principles, ideally in a pricing or reserving context.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office or equivalent applications is required.
  • Experience of planning and managing projects from inception to completion within business timelines.
  • A passion for sharing knowledge in an informative and engaging way.
  • Actuarial qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
