Group Tax Manager (Part Time)
Our client, a high growth, acquisitional global business with revenues exceeding £500m, has an opportunity for a Group Tax Manager to join their high calibre leadership team. This is a newly created role in which the successful individual will bring a number of tax responsibilities in-house & seek opportunities for efficiency.
Reporting to a high calibre CFO, this new Group Tax Manger will be the team’s first purely tax focused hire - therefore is a broad opportunity that stretches across tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, M&A and tax planning. This is a true opportunity to shape a team within a well-backed & ambitious business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Driving tax efficiencies as the Group expands internationally.
- Review of half-year and annual tax reporting for the UK Group and submissions from overseas territories.
- Preparation of transfer pricing files for all major territories.
- Working with external tax advisors to establish, implement and maintain new tax related policies.
- Working with overseas territories to ensure their compliance and reporting deadlines are met.
- Implement new policies & controls - establishing a high calibre tax team over time.
- Regular project work & business partnering across the wider Group.
You as the successful individual:
- An international corporate tax background from practice or in-house.
- Sound tax technical knowledge & proven background in creating efficiencies.
- Ability to explain tax related information to individuals without a breadth of tax knowledge.
- An accounting/tax qualification - ACA/ACCA/CTA
