Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for their International Tax team. What you'll do:
As a Senior Manager in the International Tax team, your role will be pivotal in providing UK and international tax advisory input. You will be responsible for managing tax issues and risks associated with various business initiatives. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across various teams. Your ability to identify relevant tax issues and opportunities will contribute significantly to delivering value to the Group.
- Provide effective business partnering and tax advisory support on a broad range of M&A, restructuring, treasury, legal entity rationalisation and strategic investment transactions.
- Review and input into legal documentation and proactive management of tax issues and risks.
- Analyse and advise on a range of UK and international tax matters.
- Identify relevant tax issues, opportunities to deliver value to the Group and mitigate tax risk.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the Tax team, wider Finance, Legal, M&A, and Strategy teams.
What you bring:
As the Senior Manager for International Tax, you bring strong technical knowledge of UK and international tax issues. Your experience in advising on M&A, restructuring, and treasury transactions will be invaluable. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with various teams within the organisation. As a proactive self-starter, you have excellent stakeholder management skills. A legal or accounting professional qualification is required for this role.
- Strong tax technical knowledge and experience of UK and international tax issues.
- Experience advising on M&A (including familiarity with tax clauses in sale & purchase agreements), restructuring, and treasury transactions.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Proactive self-starter with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Legal or accounting professional qualifications.
