Our client is looking for a skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their team in Watford. This role offers the opportunity to manage the compliance affairs of a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal clients while also supporting the Business Tax Team on complex tax matters. You’ll enhance your expertise in areas such as incorporations, IT/CGT planning, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes, and EIS/SEIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance for a wide-ranging client portfolio.
- Provide advisory services on complex tax issues.
- Develop technical expertise in specialized tax areas.
- Prepare Corporate Tax Returns and handle enquiries.
- Assist in tax planning and identifying opportunities.
- Maintain records of Corporation Tax Returns to ensure timely filing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CTA qualification (essential).
- Experience gained in practice, especially with OMBs.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to identify tax planning opportunities.
- Good IT and technical skills.
- Team player with the ability to manage junior staff.
- Understanding of non-corporate taxes is advantageous.
