Business has continuously been picking up, and they are now at the stage of needing to add to their team. The business offers study support and are looking for someone keen to progress and develop their own skillset within the finance world. This role is permanent and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. The company has a fantastic team culture and is quickly growing. You will be expected to assist the Finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control, and accurately recording transactions.
Duties for the European Language Speaking Finance Assistant :
- AP invoice processing.
- Raising and posting any sales invoices.
- Completing daily bank reconciliations.
- Chasing for any outstanding debt.
- Communicating with clients and suppliers in Germany, France, Italy, and the UK.
- Providing support to the Management Accounting team.
- You will also assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting requests and accounting process improvement projects.
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:
- Have a proven background within a similar role and understand basic double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Ideally studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Strong Excel skills.
This European Language Speaking Finance Assistant role is based in High Wycombe and the salary is £28,000 - £32,000 plus study support and company specific benefits.
