This Project Manager will support, execute and report on key finance and accounting technology projects that improve overall processes and systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Draw up project plans, detail timescales and resources, and manage the project from scope through post-execution review
- Coordinate technical teams to deliver projects, including direct problem resolution, decision making and communication through all phases of project as assigned
- Oversee projects and monitoring plans to ensure deadlines are met
- Direct open and consistent communication between project teams, senior management, and governance forums
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the business to understand the operational needs of the organisation to implement accounting process changes
Experience needed:
- Demonstrable experience in project management
- PRINCE2 or PMI/PMP certification is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex integration projects from initial concept to implementation
- Knowledge of financial ERP systems is essential
- Detailed knowledge of O2C and P2P processes are essential
- A highly process driven approach to project management, this role would be involved in numerous ongoing projects, so this awareness of governance is critical
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management experience
- Experience excelling within fast paced, deadline focussed environments and able to adapt to change
