A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join an international logistics business based near Slough.
Robert Walters is working in partnership with an international logistics business to assist in the recruitment of a permanent Payroll Specialist, based near Slough.
The Payroll Specialist will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will undertake a variety of payroll responsibilities to ensure effective support and running to the payroll function. Responsibilities will include:
Processing monthly payroll through SAP payroll system for circa 5000 employees ensuring all deadlines are met
- Make sure correct checks are being made to ensure the accuracy of payroll to minimise errors and delays
- Assist in all employees related queries and questions
- Ensure month end and year end requirements for HMRC are achieved and any over payment letters are sent out
As the successful Payroll Specialist your experience is likely to include:
- Previous experience within a payroll function processing monthly payroll for UK employees
- Full knowledge of statutory payroll procedures
- A can do attitude with great problem solving skills
- Good level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP knowledge would be desirable
