Management Accountant

My client is a globally recognised organisation with significant influence in their industry. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team based in SW London. This role offers the opportunity to work within a small, efficient and friendly team, with high levels of contact across various departments. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of accounting, including general accounting activities, financial analysis and business partnering.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the finance function within the organisation. You will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of accounting, from preparing and distributing monthly management accounts to supporting debtors’ management. Your ability to build strong relationships with non-finance individuals will be key in improving financial understanding and facilitating efficient debt collection processes.

Key Duties:

• Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly management accounts
• Support debtors’ management by collaborating with other departments
• Assist in the implementation of a new accounting system
• Support the day-to-day accounting and reporting functions
• Liaise with department heads to provide insightful commentary on department performance
• Assist with the preparation of Annual budgets and half year forecasts

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will be in the process of completing their studies. You should have at least 2 years of experience working within an accounting team and possess strong communication skills. Your ability to work effectively with non-financial literate stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Experience using Microsoft Excel is essential, as is excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
