Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and committed Assistant Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, working in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to maintain accurate financial records and support various accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the preparation of month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and budgets.
- Prepare cashflow analyses for review.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, including expense reports and receipts.
- Assist with financial audits and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
- Participate in financial analysis and forecasting activities.
What you bring:
- AAT qualified or relevant experience.
- Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with international revenue recognition standards.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and a best practice approach.
