Are you a part-qualified finance professional? Would you be interested in working for a prestigious business based in Central London within the Hospitality space? Do you have exposure to lease accounting or working with landlords? As a result of continual growth, we are partnering exclusively with a leading business in the Hospitality space to recruit their next Property Accountant based out of their Central London office on a hybrid basis.
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, as a Property Accountant you will be responsible for the month end property and utilities postings for all the UK entities including rent, lease incentives, insurance and business rates.
Further responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintaining the property related invoice process including any queries
- Preparing the weekly creditors report
- Preparing the annual property and utilities budget for all the UK entities
- Negotiation with landlords to gain more favourable payment terms
- Other adhoc tasks to support the Commercial Finance team
You will ideally be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification) with strong academics, ideally including a degree (or equivalent). You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record dealing with landlords and lease accounting within any industry. A strong eye for detail will be needed to be a success in this role and you will be able to adapt to an ever changing environment.
This Property Accountant role is a full-time, permanent opportunity based out of a Central London office on a hybrid basis paying a competitive starting salary and benefits package.
