A leading shipping company based in the West End is seeking a Financial/Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. The role offers excellent benefits, study support and a generous bonus.
Financial/Management Accountant sought by a leading shipping business based in the West End. The role will suit someone either with Shipping industry experience or working in a top accountancy practice.
The position offers a competitive salary, great benefits including a generous bonus as well as study support after probation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Provcess
- Supplier Payments
- Liaising with technical, operations teams and external auditors
- Month end reporting and reconciliations
- Group VAT returns
- Ad -hoc projects
- Assisting other members of the finance team
- Dealing with the banks and payroll team
Requirements:
- 2-3 years previous experience in Shipping Industry or previous work experience in Big 4
- Part-qualified or finalist ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Good knowledge in UK GAAP & IFRS
- Excellent Excel Skills
