**Assistant Accountant** A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Assistant Accountant to join a fast growing business in Milton Keynes. Our client is looking for a progressive Part Qualified Assistant Accountant, this role will be to support the Finance Manager in consolidation and preparations of budgets, forecast and strategic plans along with other ad- hoc duties. Key areas of Responsibility:

• Produce Management Accounts to include P&L & Balance sheets

• Analysis for P&L to compare against Budgets & Forecast

• Preparation schedules of monthly cost

• Balance sheet reconciliation

• Maintaining financial accounting systems

• Assist in annual budget process

• Analysing spend including VAT

Additional Skills required:

• Excellent analytical and modelling skills

• Experience of reconciling various ledgers

• Strong knowledge of accounting for VAT

Experience & Characteristics:

• Part-Qualified (CIMA/ACCA)

• Strong excel skills

• Pro active approach

• Team player

• Highly Motivated

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Adaptable and able to prioritise work
