Financial Reporting Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a highly respected Global Technology business in London, who are growing! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and timely financial information. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring statutory and group compliance, supporting core accounting processes, and working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

Support month-end close, VAT returns, and management reporting to ensure accurate, timely financial results.

Prepare and post journals, maintain full ledger accuracy, and complete regular balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.

Assist with VAT compliance and group reporting packs, meeting all deadlines with reliable, consistent data.

Manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and payments, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Support purchase-to-pay processes, working closely with Accounts Payable to ensure smooth invoice management.

Collaborate with Group Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to align financial data with business goals and provide insights.

Assist with audits by preparing schedules, liaising with auditors, and delivering required analysis on time.

ACA/CA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification with strong technical accounting expertise.

Minimum two years’ audit or commercial experience ideally in tech/infrastructure or related industries.

Hands-on experience in month-end close, VAT, ledger accounting, and reconciliations.

Practical exposure to group reporting and intercompany processes across multiple entities.

Proficiency in accounting systems (Workday experience a plus) and adaptability to new tools.

Excellent communication skills and able to explain financial information clearly to varied audiences.

Strong analytical ability and attention to detail for identifying and resolving discrepancies early.

Experience in fixed assets and cost accounting supporting accurate project costing.

Solid understanding of IFRS and core financial principles.

Dependable, proactive team player who can also work independently when required.
