This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of commercial finance and business partnering to Development and Project Management teams, as well as joint ventures. What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, playing a pivotal role in supporting decision-making and driving the success of our pipeline. Your responsibilities will include preparing management accounts and forecasts, significantly contributing to our group and statutory reporting. Your expertise will be essential in creating monthly scheme review papers, annual budgets, and detailed cash flow forecasts for our projects, as well as annual statutory accounts. Additionally, you will oversee monthly loan drawdowns, ensuring efficient cash utilization within joint ventures. Your dedication to meeting strict contractual deadlines for financial information will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Development Management and Project Management teams to prepare monthly scheme review papers.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Upload forecast information into our newly implemented system, Anaplan.
  • Prepare management and financial information to support comprehensive reporting.
  • Generate detailed cash flow forecasts for projects and reconcile them with actuals in the accounting system.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and facilitate the external audit process.
  • Adhere to strict contractual deadlines for providing financial information to partners.
  • Oversee monthly loan drawdowns, ensuring efficient cash management within joint ventures.
  • Support team members to ensure they meet required standards and deadlines.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our operations, enabling us to achieve our strategic goals and deliver outstanding results.

What you bring:

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 2 years of industry experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality finance services.
  • Attention to detail and ability to present work clearly and concisely.
  • Effective communication of financial information through reports and in meetings.
  • Efficient time management skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
