Robert Walters are currently working with a global brand based in Slough who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This role would suit a 1st time mover who is looking to join a large company and become a key member on the UK Finance team.

As a Financial Accountant, you will monitor risk, controls and balance sheet integrity as well as be involved with statutory financial reporting, ensuring compliance with global company procedures as well as international accounting standards.

This is a broad Financial Accounting role, where you will be business partnering with a number of areas in the business to ensure the business hits its key objectives set out. This will involve working closely with Auditors and other Financial Controllers in the business, to provide support across processes.

Other key responsibilities of the role include:

- Highlighting financial reporting issues and making recommendations

- Help map and develop processes inc. Month End, Internal Controls and Account Classification

- Manage implementation and running of the groups internal controls programme

We would love to speak to Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) who have the following skills/capabilities:

- ACA/ACCA Qualified from a top 50 accounting practice

- Strong excel skills and understanding of complex system applications

- Working knowledge of IFRS and FRS101

- Stakeholder and outcome focused. The ability to business partner across departments is key to the success of this role!

Our client is offering a salary of £55,000 - £57,000 alongside a very competitive benefits package including company bonus scheme, enhanced pension, hybrid working and more.
