An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding, international organisation with ambitious plans for growth. This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, along with a fantastic benefits package and lots flexibility surrounding hybrid working. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the finance function across multiple trading businesses within the group.
What you'll do:
As an Assistant Financial Controller, your role will be pivotal in running a finance function that is incredibly well regarded. You will assist the Head of Finance and Financial Controllers in managing the finance operations across 8 European entities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing the preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting the Financial Controller with all finance tasks, and preparing supplementary returns to the overseas head office finance team. You will also work closely with the FP&A team to prepare detailed budgets and forecasts.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Financial Controller position is a qualified accountant who is comfortable interfacing with all levels of management and staff. You should have excellent technical accounting knowledge and high-level IT literacy. Your ability to effectively delegate tasks while retaining responsibility will be crucial in this role. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with accomplished verbal and written communication skills.
